Throughout history, Amethyst has been associated with spirituality, reflection, intuition, emotional balance, and inner calm. Ancient Greeks believed the stone offered protection against intoxication, while modern crystal practices commonly connect it to the crown chakra and heightened spiritual awareness.

Amethyst is often viewed as a stone of stillness -- one that encourages slowing down, reconnecting inward, and quieting the mental noise of everyday life. Its rich violet hues and ancient crystalline formations carry a deeply calming presence that many people are naturally drawn toward during periods of reflection, healing and personal growth.

For me personally, Amethyst felt like the natural beginning of this healing collection. There is something undeniably sacred about the way this crystal forms--raw, powerful, and beautifully imperfect. Its energy has always reminded me to slow down, trust my intuition, and create moments of peace even during life's chaos. In many ways, Amethyst embodies the very heart of what I hope this collection offers: grounding, reflection, beauty, and connection.

It is easily one of my favorite crystals, not only because pink has always been one of my favorite colors, but because of what this stone represents emotionally. Its gentle hues feel inviting, encouraging people to embrace vulnerability, authenticity, and emotional openness without shame. To me, Rose Quartz serves as a reminder that there is softness in healing, and that tenderness can be just as powerful as strength.

This is one crystal I feel particularly drawn toward. Its texture and appearance have always reminded me of bark from an ancient tree or charred wood weathered by time and storms. There is something deeply comforting about that imagery to me. Trees endure unseen storms quietly, much like many of the emotional storms we carry within outselves.

Black Tourmaline feels protective in a way that is difficult to fully explain--almost guardian-like in its energy. Because of this deep personal connection, it became an important part of the protection jars available within the shop. To me, this stone serves as a reminder that protection is not always loud or forceful. Sometimes it is steady, rooted, ancient, and quietly enduring.

skies, frozen water, and quiet stillness. There is something incredibly peaceful about simply looking at it.

Celestite was an easy choice for this healing collection because of the deep sense of calm it brings me personally. When I look into its soft blue formations, I am reminded of crisp blue water, quiet mornings, and the feeling of finally exhaling after emotional overwhelm. This crystal gently reminds me that not every storm in life must be fought against. Sometimes healing comes from learning to soften, surrender, and flow with the waves life brings instead of resisting them.

emerge from darkness when viewed from the right angle.

Because of this, Labradorite is often viewed as a stone of becoming as it is connected to growth, awakening, and rediscovering hidden parts of oneself that may have once been buried beneath fear, uncertainty, or survival.

What I love most about Labradorite is that at first glance it appears dark and ordinary, yet beneath the surface lives an explosion of hidden color waiting to reveal itself in the light. To me, there is something deeply symbolic and beautiful about that.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Labradorite resonates with me on a deeply personal level. Its hidden flashes of color remind me that there is magic, beauty, and strength within all of us--even during the moments we feel unseen. In many ways, this stone mirrors my own journey of stepping out of the shadows, embracing authenticity, and finally allowing my rainbow light to shine openly into the world.

This mesmerizing and colorful mineral is commonly found in layered bands of purple, green, blue, teal, and translucent crystal formations. Fluorite naturally forms in geometric and cubic structures and can appear in both raw and polished forms.

Fluorite is commonly associated with mental clarity, focus, balance, discernment, emotional processing, creativity, harmony, and organized thought. Because of these qualities, it is often favored by students, creatives, healers, and spiritually minded individuals seeking clarity during overwhelming or chaotic periods.

Interestingly, the word "fluorescence" originates from Fluorite due to some specimens glowing beneath ultraviolet light--yet another reason this crystal feels so magical and unique.

Moonstone is a feldspar mineral best known for its glowing adularescence. It is easily recognizable by a soft internal flash or sheen that resembles moonlight resting beneath the surface of the stone, creating an ethereal and calming appearance.

Within spiritual and metaphysical communities, Moonstone is commonly associated with intuition, emotional awareness, cycles, reflection, inner wisdom, sensitivity, feminine energy, lunar connection, and new beginnings.

Throughout history, Moonstone has been revered in many ancient cultures as a sacred moon-connected stone tied to intuition, emotional depth, and divine feminine energy. Its luminous glow and shifting appearance have long inspired associations with the moon, tides, emotional cycles, and spiritual reflection.

This translucent brown-to black variety of quartz ranges in color from soft smoky gray to deep earthy brown. Its warm, grounding tones and natural translucency give it a calming yet protective presence that feels deeply connected to the earth.

Smoky Quartz is often associated with grounding, stability, protection, emotional release, resilience, transformation, and--perhaps most importantly--learning how to let shit go!

Many within spiritual and metaphysical communities view it as a stabilizing stone capable of helping people move through darkness without becoming consumed by it.

What draws many people to Fluorite is its layered coloration and naturally structured formations. There is a sense of harmony within contradiction hidden inside this stone. Its colors blend together in unexpected ways while still creating something balanced and beautiful.

To me, Fluorite represents complexity, individuality, and the understanding that healing is not always linear. Life is messy. Growth is messy. We can hold contradiction within ourselves and still be whole.

And if I'm being completely honest, Fluorite was not originally one of the crystals I felt most drawn toward. However, I have crossed paths with pieces that immediately felt meant to come home with me the moment I saw them. Experiences like that are why I often tell people that crystals choose you just as much as you choose them.

Ultimately, I chose Fluorite for this healing collection because it reminds me that there is beauty within layered identities, emotional complexity, chaos finding order, and transformation through growth. This stone feels artistic, cosmic, and deeply individualistic--a reminder that we are allowed to be many things at once and still remain authentic to who we are.

Moonstone is often viewed as a deeply reflective crystal--one connected to emotional healing, inner balance, and learning to trust life's natural rhythms instead of constantly forcing forward movement.

Despite being one of my personal favorite crystals alongside Sunstone, I felt especially drawn to include Moonstone within this healing collection because of my deep connection to the moon herself. There is something profoundly comforting about the way this crystal mirrors emotional cycles and reminds us that rest, reflection, and softness are not weakness.

To me, Moonstone carries a quiet emotional wisdom. It encourages us to soften ourselves instead of remaining trapped in survival mode at all times. Much like the moon influences the tides, this crystal reminds me that we, too, experience an ebb and flow within our emotional wellbeing--and that healing sometimes comes not from resistance, but from honoring those changing tides with gentleness and grace.

grounding talisman. It is frequently connected to emotional processing and energetic release due to its perceived ability to bridge spiritual awareness with earthly grounding and emotional resilience.

There is something incredibly mature and comforting about Smoky Quartz. Its earthy tones feel ancient, weathered, calming, protective, and deeply rooted in nature. Unlike crystals that feel bright or airy, Smoky Quartz feels steady--like standing barefoot on solid ground during emotional storms.

I choose to include Smoky Quartz within this healing collection because it has personally played a significant role in my own spiritual growth and emotional healing journey. It was one of the very first crystals I acquired shortly after stepping out of the closet and beginning a deeper journey of self-discovery and authenticity.

To this day, I still wear Smoky Quartz regularly as a pendant, especially during periods where I feel emotionally overwhelmed or surrounded by heavy energy. For me, this crystal represents emotional resilience, grounded protection, and survival through darkness. More than almost any other stone, Smoky Quartz has reminded me that healing is not about avoiding darkness entirely--but learning how to move through it without losing yourself in the process.

something incredibly soft and ethereal about the way Selenite naturally forms--luminous, delicate, calming, and almost otherworldly in appearance.

To me, Selenite represents softness without weakness. Simply looking at it feels calming, as though it carries peace within its very structure. Its connection to moonlight, cleansing, and emotional stillness serves as a reminder that healing does not always need to arrive loudly or dramatically. Sometimes renewal comes gently--in quiet moments, softened hearts, peaceful spaces, and the decision to finally allow yourself to rest.
